The MDR format “einfach genial” shows the story of our founding
With the Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk TV program "einfach genial" (simply brilliant), we were able to capture initial footage during the initial tests of our machine in June 2025. These recordings are now being broadcast.
For anyone interested, the program offers a clear and easy-to-understand explanatory video about our technology.
Exciting insight into the practice of existing construction
Many thanks to ZECH Bau SE NL Rohbau Munich for the informative and impressive tour of current renovation and conversion projects. Working in existing buildings is highly complex, diverse, and plays a central role in the climate-friendly future of the construction industry.
This is precisely where our vision comes in: With the QuiMo, we are developing a compact, universal machine designed to make demolition, material handling, and assembly processes in existing buildings more efficient, economical, and climate-friendly.
We are working on making our first contributions soon – our updates will follow.

Mayor of Ulm visits QuiMo WL1600
QuiMo had the opportunity to showcase our WL1600 at InMach Intelligente Maschinen GmbH during the “Unternehmen im Dialog” event.
A special highlight: the Mayor of the City of Ulm, Martin Ansbacher, took the time to learn more about our machine. The event was organized by the City Development Association Ulm/Neu-Ulm – wirtschaftskraft hoch 2, which brings together businesses, the city, and the region.
A big thank you to everyone for the great interest!
As a start-up developing in Ulm, it’s fantastic to see how events like this foster exchange and networking.

Patent Expertise Meets Start-up Spirit!
We were honored to welcome Mr. Helmut Jahnke, Head of the Patent und Markenzentrum Baden-Württemberg, and his colleague Mr. Hendrik Bartsch to QuiMo.
Presenting our proof of concept machine and discussing the role of patents was a truly valuable experience. We were pleased to receive confirmation that our patent portfolio provides comprehensive protection for generations to come – and this journey is only just beginning. 🚀

Demo at Strabag
We recently had the opportunity to visit STRABAG in Bebra, where we exchanged ideas with their experts and presented our Two-Wheel-Loader. The discussions provided us with valuable insights and feedback for our development. We would like to sincerely thank STRABAG for the opportunity and the open exchange.

First bucket, full success!
A big milestone: our new bucket has arrived – and the best part? Even without any optimization, we’re already filling it to the top! 💪 The team is thrilled, and we can’t wait to show you more.
Stay tuned – first action videos coming soon! 🎥🔥

Recap: QuiMo at demopark 2025
From June 22 to June 24, 2025, QuiMo was part of demopark 2025 – Europe's largest open-air exhibition for municipal technology. Three exciting days full of innovation, direct exchange, and valuable feedback are behind us.

We’re leaving bauma 2025 – but we’re not being dismantled.
After an incredible week at bauma 2025, our QuiMo WL1600 is rolling off the exhibition grounds – not as a prototype to be shelved, but as a concept that’s just getting started.
A heartfelt thank you to all the visitors, partners and curious minds who stopped by our booth. The many inspiring conversations and strong interest in our 2-wheel loader have shown us that we’re on the right path.
We’re already working on next steps – and are looking forward to sharing more very soon.
Stay tuned!
We’re excited to share a first look at the QuiMo WL1600 – and invite you to meet us at bauma 2025!
After months of hard work, the first functional prototype of our 2-wheel loader is now moving – and turning on the spot!
Thanks to its differential drive, this compact machine achieves outstanding maneuverability, perfect for tight spaces, inner-city construction sites, and indoor use.
Are you attending bauma 2025 in Munich?
Come visit us in Hall A2, Booth 421 – together with our partner InMach Intelligente Maschinen GmbH, we’ll be showcasing the QuiMo WL1600 live for the very first time.
🚛 The Journey Begins: Our Prototype on Its Way to Ulm 🚛
Exciting news! Our 2-wheel loader prototype is on the move! After the dedicated team at Fecht Hydraulik worked tirelessly to install the hydraulic connections in incredibly tight spaces, the prototype is now en route to our prototype factory in Ulm.
A massive thank you to the skilled employees of Fecht Hydraulik & Maschinen- Service GmbH in Mühlingen (BW) for their outstanding work and attention to detail. Without their expertise and commitment, this milestone wouldn’t have been possible.
Stay tuned as we gear up for the next steps at our prototype factory in Ulm!
